SSDLA is very professional firm. Everyone was extremely honest and informative. I tried to handle Social security on my own and soon realized I was in over my head. To make the story short, won my claim and SSDLA pretty much saved my life. Without them I would have lost my benefits/health insurance. Thank you SSDLA and thank you Maggie.
You know I was getting very frustrated about getting my disability until you guys helped me. My outcome was very good and I couldn't be more happier. Thanks so much.
These People are AWESOME, CARING, KIND HEARTED & made me feel human even though I was going through a tough time. Every one in this office was just so nice and helpful, I just loved talking to Angie it was just like she was my Angel and kept my spirit lifted. I just wish I could have had this group of people on my side for my car accident case. Sincerely Debbie G
I have not yet done business with this firm but Michelle just spent a half hour with me explaining my options of using representation or not. She even invited me to call her back with any questions despite me not (yet) signing on with their firm. Exemplary client service!
I will begin this review with nothing but gratitude for this law firm. Whether the outcome of my case was fully favorable or a denial was the decision the professionalism and knowledge as well as the empathy shown to me goes above and beyond my expectations. I was treated with respect and given complete honesty about the possible outcome of my claim. I was corresponding with the law firm via telephone and email and had great confidence in them even though I was in a different state. Angie Altic , a legal assistant there was always super nice and ready to address any questions or any concerns I had. She was very knowledgeable and very honest about my case. Chris Jones, the lawyer who represented me was also very honest and because of his many years of representing clients with SSA claims again exceeded my expectations with the hearing process and the actual hearing. I would most definitely recommend this law firm who solely deals with SSA claims and representation. I was referred to this firm by a fellow VET and would highly recommend to anyone looking for an honest opinion about their claim to call for a consultation. This firm will not take your case unless they believe the client has a credible case. I can not thank them enough for what they accomplished for me.
They are wonderful friendly and fight for you. I'm so thankful that I found them.
The application process for Social Security disability with SSDL was incredibly smooth. I found the assistance from your office outstanding. Your staff was very knowledgeable, professional, prompt at returning my phone calls / inquiries. The assistant assigned to me focused on my individual case as though I was her only client; she was supportive, positive, warm and friendly every time we spoke. I am so pleased that my husband selected your organization to work with in applying for my social security Security disability. Within about two and a half months I received my letter approving my social security disability. Thank you for all that you've done to make this process so simple for me!
They have been the best and nicest people ever .They made the sun come out of darkness.
This is the premier Law Firm in the Midwest that only handles Social Security Disability cases. I give them the highest recommendation possible.
After taking a survey to see if I qualified for social security disability, SSDLA was the first company to call me. I was skeptical thinking all they wanted to do was scoop me up to make a quick buck, but after talking with them I was so impressed that I declined all other similar businesses when they called. That couldn't have been further for the truth! During the initial call everything was explained to me (timeline of the process, expectations, fees, what they specifically do etc...). The was absolutely no pressure and they answered all my questions simply and effectively and always toy satisfaction. As i stated, they weren't just after my money. They really care! Everyone I have ever spoken to in their office has been very compassionate, patient and understanding of my ailments, limitations and often confusion. They are quick at returning calls, clearly and informative walk you thru events and work around you if you need to reschedule a call because you are not well. I really cannot say enough good things about SSDLA! I'm so very glad that I chose them to be may disability advocates. They've been nothing less than awesome!
Did a great job! Got full disability and all the benefits! Thanks!
Great experience. Kept me informed the whole time. Made the process less stressful for me. Always responded to me in a timely Manor. Worked hard to get my disability approved for me within a matter of 3 months. Maggie was super helpful and I appreciate being treated as a person and with respect..... Not just as another client. Highly recommended.
Thank you thank you thank you!!!! I can't say thank you enough!! SSDLA is just awesome!! They've helped me out tremendously!! It's been a long road and I'm very glad I found SSDLA and they were on my side!! I can't compliment them enough for their hard work and dedication to my case thank you again!! Highly recommended!!
This has been a very long process but they have been very helpful at responding in a timely manner and always there to answer any questions I have about the process and updating me on everything with my case. It is very important to have someone helping you along the way and they were able to explain everything 'legal' in a way I understood. Thank you so much for all your help!
Excellent people that got me my disability in a matter of months. Didn't even have to see a judge. Highly recommend SSDLA. They make the process real smooth.
Very knowledgeable & friendly. Couldn’t be where i am now if it wasn’t for him. Thank you!
Wonderful people, they will work with you until your case is settled they are really great people I would referred these people to my friends anytime.
High quality service
SSDLA made the process go smoothly. They answered all my questions in a timely matter. The offer high quality service and I highly recommend them
Meet all expectations
They were absolutely wonderful. They helped me when I needed it most and answered all my questions in a timely manner. They were always understanding and always let me know everything that was going on regarding my case. Thank you as you made this difficult time a little easier with your guidance. Thank you for believing in me.
Exceeded my every expectation. Caring people
I could not have asked for more. Any positive adjective you can think of that you would hope for when hiring a law firm or working with any type of business ....this law firm has. They were extremely professional competent, excellent follow-through and respond quickly to any need or question. They were professional yet with the personal touch of a smaller law firm that would likely go missing with a large corporate firm. They communicated clearly every step of the way and I knew I was in good hands. They won my case quickly and I would refer anyone I know to Social Security Disability Legal Advocates, Inc. SSDLA. Every time I called an actual person answered the telephone and you will never be shuffled through a voice messaging system. They are accessible, hands on and hard workers. I initially called and spoke with Michelle who stopped in her tracks to speak with me 30 minutes and initiated my case. She was extremely intelligent and followed up with me. My case manager was Maggie who was such a kind and caring person and neither of them missed a beat. I am grateful to the entire team. I found them by doing a simple google search and read a couple of reviews and knew instantly this was the firm to call. Best wishes to anyone looking for legal help.
Highly recommend this group. Chris and Jean are extremely professional and compassionate. Angie is very helpful as well.
You provided great service. From the start to the end. Thank you for believing in me. All of you thanks.
Great staff, professional and friendly
I lost my first case on my own, I didn't think I had a chance, until I called SSDLA. They told me they wouldn't take a case if they even thought I would lose. THEY SAID I WOULD WIN. AND I DID. THANK YOU FOR EXPLAINING EVERYTHING TO ME AS WELL.
Thank you for your work.
The team at SSDLA took care of everything for me. They have also told me that they will help in the future if anything happens.
The highest quality of service.
Very knowledgeable with decades of experience. I would recommend all that I know about their professional services. I want to express my admiration to office staff and exceptional professional lawyers. Thank you for taking the time to work with getting through the stressful event in my life. "BRAVO ZULU" to Chris Jones.
Mrs Elizabeth Doll
SSDLA is a wonderful company who hires (as far as i can tell) compassionate, caring, knowledgeable employees. The receptionist was always kind and helpful and Maggie Glenn who helped walk me though this process could not of been more understanding, hopeful and patient. In fact very one in this office fits this description, esp. Maggie. I will never forget her amazing qualities. She is a excellent addition to your group. All your employee's seem to be angels dressed in human costumes. Almost wish I had a reason to talk with all of you again. Thank you for all your help during this very stressful and painful time. I would recommended anyone I know for SSDLA services
Professional and Friendly
From the beginning they worked really hard to get me my benifits. My one and only complaint is that the lawer only spent about a half an hour with me before we went in to see the judge. I think our outcome would of been better if he would of spent more time getting to know my conditions and history better.
I just want to take this opportunity to give a big Thank You to the staff at SSDLAI for all their hard work for the past 4 plus years working with me on my case the whole staff did a great job, I hope everyone there has a Great Christmas!!
Very professional, responsive and caring
I have nothing but profound gratitude for your excellent and professional service to my case.
Professional high quality help navigating disability claim
I can’t say enough good things about the service I received from SSDLA. I worked with Maggie and Angie. I was represented by attorney Chris Jones in person at my hearing. I can not say enough about their professionalism and competency, but mostly their kindness and compassion throughout the entire process of applying for disability. Truly blessed and grateful to have worked with this company. I’ll be forever grateful for their competency and compassion in helping me.
Couldn't have asked for better help
My husband and I worked with Michelle and Maggie to successfully and quickly receive Social Security Disability Benefits for him. Talking with them and completing the necessary forms was much easier than the daunting task of approaching a government agency alone. Experiencing a medical disability is a difficult and frightening emotional experience, and we are very grateful for the friendly support and easy accessibility of these two women. We live many states away from their office, but they were an easy phone call away.
My experience with SSDL was a rewarding one. I worked with Maggie. She was thorough, efficient and always returned my call in reasonable time. My case was completed a lot sooner than I expected it would. I recommend SSDL for your disability needs!
Highly professional, experienced and friendly
I had an excellent experience with SSDLA. They were extremely competent, responsive and friendly. I would highly recommend them to anyone who needs assistance navigating the Social Security disability process.
Friendly and Professional
My mother was diagnosed with early onset dementia so we decided to pursue obtaining social security disability benefits utilizing this firm. They were very friendly and professional in our dealings with them and always available to speak to me when i called them or they would always promptly return my call. The social security administration said it usually takes them about 6 months to make their first determination whether or not she would receive benefits but they awarded her benefits in a month and a half. Using this firm made the process easy for us and they were willing to answer any questions that we had as the process went along. Their fee was already deducted from her backpay that she was awarded so we didn't have to worry about paying them after the work was done as that part was already taken care of. I would recommend them to anyone seeking to obtain social security disability benefits.
Surpassed my expectations and needs!!!
In every step of my, SUCCESSFUL Fibromyalgia disability claim process, SSDLA was upfront, honest and extremely willing to go out of their way to help me. When I needed an answer, or just someone to listen, they were there. The care and compassion I received was unbelievable. I would recommend SSDLA to ALL who are seeking disability. Thank you to Linda, Michelle, Maggie, Angie and Chris...All of you were GREAT!
exceptional service, reliablle, quick to return calls and give updates, very friendly, easy to work with
From the beginning to the end of the process, I was always kept informed of what was going on, Michelle was the 1st lady who helped me with gathering information and such for my case. She told me exactly what I needed to provide like Doctors involved and what to write down on the forms if I got stuck on a question, she was always there are and readily available to help me. After all this was submitted to Social Security Disability, then my case was forwarded to Maggie who helped me provide Dr. information and forms for the Drs. to fill out regarding my case. She was readily available to answer any questions I had regarding my case and steps that my case was taking. I was told from the very beginning that in my state the cases workload was backed up and that I may not get a decision for almost 18-20 months. Also I was told that the majority of cases were not approved the first time and that then then went to appeals which is why it took so long, but once I got approved, if I got approved, I would get back pay from the SSA (social security administration). I was also told upfront that these lawyers would be getting a standard fee of 6% of what I got. I was so shocked when I got an automatic debit in my checking account from the SSA it was a Friday afternoon when I noticed, I figured it meant I won my case the 1st go round but it was too late to call Maggie. Monday morning came and I gave her a call, she said, "yes, if you got a deposit, then you won your case". I was so excited, it was more than I imagined & she said I would have to wait for the award letter that came by mail to get the breakdown and to get my monthly deposit amount. I am so happy I went with SSDLA, they made everything so easy. The hardest thing was the phone interview, which was answering questions about my disability, and then waiting, I was afraid I wouldn't get approved. I never thought I would get approved within 6 months. they really went to bat for me. Thank you so much!!!!
They made the process alot easier
At first, I was hesitant about applying for disability. Actually, I was kind of scared. Everything I had read online was that the process takes a long time and that a number of claims get rejected. I was scared. After I built up the nerve, I called and set up an appointment to talk with them (still not knowing what I was getting myself into). All can say is that they made the process easy. After the initial interview, they handled the application and almost everything going forward. With in four months I was approved. Also - they are good people to work with.
Best customer service
Always answered your questions, were very nice , especially in a horrible situation. They made the 2 year fight not as scary. Anyone going through this process school use their services, they are the best.
Using SSDLA was so easy that it made me feel that I was forgetting something. Everything went perfect from start to finish. The staff was awesome and made me feel that me case was important. I wish that everything I have to do went as well.
I have absolutely no complaints about anyone in this office. From the receptionist to the main people they were all extremely helpful, and courteous. I mostly dealt with Linda, Angie and Chris all of whom are fantastic people. Angie went above and beyond for two years during my case. I highly recommend these amazing people.
Helpful, kind and professional!
Social Security Disability Legal Advocates Inc. SSDLA has made such a difference in my sister's life. She fell and broke her hip over a year ago and will never be the same because of the pain and limitations she now has. We knew right away that she would struggle the rest of her life if she did not receive disability - and SSDLA has helped guide us through the entire process. There is no way we could have done this on our own, therefore we are forever grateful for their assistance. We were additionally pleased on how quickly we were able to get results - thank you Maggie. I would highly recommend SSDLA to anyone who is considering applying for disability benefits of any kind.
Very friendly, honest and professional.
I had been denied times. They took my case and I was very pleased in the professional way they handled it. I got very prompt results. If not for SSDLA, I might never have got it and my family would have been homeless. Thank you SSDLA!!! nd
Professional, timely, caring, compassionate.
Highly recommended this firm. Maggie went above and beyond to make sure I was well taken care of and knew EVERYTHING I needed to know ahead of time. She kept me up to date at all times!!
High quality service
I was very pleased with having obtained Social Security benefits very quickly! 5 STAR rating. Was provided a copy of all of the important things needed for me to also apply for KPERS. I'm still waiting to hear approval of my earned benefits from KPERS, but thankfully not Social Security! I was always greeted with respect from Linda who answered the phone.
high quality service.
The service was very good.yes i will refer you to a friend.
I loved the understanding that they have would have them any time to represent me and my family !
Very friendly, helpful, and professional
I think this is such a great group. Everyone is so helpful. I didn't know much about the process or anything i was going through but they explained everything i had questions about. Everyone i talked to there was so friendly. I never felt mis treated or looked down on. I would recommend them in a heart beat to anyone in need of such help!
thanks for help
I was happy with all the help. I would suggest callbacks be made in a little more timely manner. It doesn't seem that if you call and leave a message for a question and that person you left the message with happens to not be in for the day of next few days you have to wait until they are back before you get an answer back. It seems to me that you need a system for backups to be able to check other employees messages so questions can be answered in a more timely manner. The only other suggestion I would have is to explain from the get go that you don't get paid for the first 5 months that you are off. I came as a surprise to me that I would not get that money and that I would have to wait for 24 checks before I could apply for Medicare. Otherwise I was pleased with service,
Professional..... Compassionate .... Reliable .....
Social SecurityDisability Legal Advocates would be my first choice to refer a friend to if they were in need of Disability. At first I was concerned because they said they did everything over the Phone. I had an issue with not knowing who I was dealing with for a step in my life that I was not sure of. Michelle B. Invited me down to the office to meet everyone. I was extremely tired and started to get the chronic fatigue fog. They actually walked me to the elevator. The rest of the application was completed over the phone. I felt very comfortable with their professionalism and their compassion. I was approved with Disability with the first application.. I have since called because I did not receive my check. Michelle immediately made some phone calls. She will get back to me next week. I thoroughly enjoyed working with them. Everyone in the office is always very pleasant. I do appreciate their Professionalism.
Everything was extremely well done, very professionally executed. They have done everything they said they would do. Did follow-up calls and returned calls right away. Very professional and friendly would highly recommend them .
Did exactly what i hired them for
They got me approved on first try. They took care of everything, filling out almost all the forms for me, dealing with Social Security reps, etc. Maggie and Michelle were my contacts and they were both great
Knowledgeable and professional
During a very difficult time for me, I found the legal aid who worked my case to be knowledgeable and comforting when I got frustrated at the length of time this took to resolve. If she didn't know the answer to one of my questions, she always got back to me promptly with the answer. The lawyer was professional and well dressed. He knew what he was doing in the court room and seemed well respected by the judge.
great team of,go geters
This firm and there staff, go above and beyond to get you everything you deserve. They all are true professional kind and I would recommend them whole heartedly.thank you so very much. This would not of happened without your firm and the many kind staff. Thank you so very much Brenda Brazeal
Best Decision Ever
Once I decided to get a lawyer to help with my disability case, there were so many to chose from and so many suggested ones to consider, but one word keep coming back to me, "Advocate". So, I made the call, from the first call to the last one everyone that I spoke with was so friendly, and was always prompt in returning my call. They sent me a copy of every letter and report that was sent to the Social Security Office. Believe me there were quite a few of them, and they were so well written, very precise in wording, which is very important to convey your specific problems. The lady, Andrea W., that came down to my hearing was very friendly, had a notebook full of all the paperwork that had been done to get to that point, was very knowledgeable of my case, and did I mention friendly? She made me feel comfortable from the first "Hello". When speaking with the judge she was respectful, confident, and, there's that word again, was truly my "Advocate". I should also mention - WE WON!! I would most definitely recommend the, "Social Security Disability Legal Advocates, Inc. Here is their phone number also, (913) 262-6555 located out of Mission, KS. Yes, they came down to Poteau, OK just to represent me.
